This is the first time I’ve updated my photography branding since I started my business over 5-6 years ago. Back then I had no idea what my “brand” really was, I thought I had to fit myself into this wedding mould and keep up with the latest trend. If everyone was using soft pastel colours, that’s what I needed to do. If everyone was using matte/desaturated editing presets, that’s what I needed to do. Except it wasn’t at all what I should have been doing because it just wasn’t me.
I love having parties where everyone dances in the kitchen and I love horror movies and playing with lego. I’m a child at heart. I don’t sleep because my mind is always creating something. I have big, bold ideas and I always want to do a million things at once. Pastel colours, soft tones, delicate fonts…. they’re just not who I am. I’m boisterous and feminine in my own way.
So I created a new logo, placed it on my photography packaging and changed the colours on my website. I want you to know that when you’re working with me, that you’re getting the authentic me and that my photography branding is me. Daft, fun, colourful and full of personality.
